Adedamola Odetara is a Nigerian photographer living and working in Lagos, Nigeria. Adedamola is a member of the African Photojournalism Database (APJD) and Indigenous Photograph. His interest in photography is to capture and retell stories that are often overlooked. Telling stories from an alternative perspective about culture, society in ways that challenge stereotypes, conventional beliefs/opinions. his work is mostly focused on documentaries, fashion, fine art.
Adedamola currently studies English language at the University of Lagos. His works have been featured on several magazines and media houses including Vogue Italia, CNN, Dazed, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, An0ther magazine, Vanity Teen, Schick magazine to name a few. When he’s not on assignment, he enjoys working on personal projects.
